About the Role
We’re launching the Blitzy Business Development program designed as a structured, fast-paced launchpad for technically minded individuals who want to build a high-upside career in tech sales.
This is a unique opportunity as Blitzy is a highly technical platform and our BDRs must speak the language of modern software engineering and engage credibly with technical buyers. You’ll manage a mix of high-intent inbound leads and targeted outbound campaigns, conducting value-based discovery with engineering teams and senior executives.
This program is designed for long-term growth. If you have the technical foundation, grit, competitive drive, and hunger to scale revenue, this is your starting line. As you hit your milestones, you’ll have a clear path to advance into roles across Blitzy’s Go-To-Market organization—including Account Executive, Solutions Consulting, Technical Marketing, Forward Deployed Engineering, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, and Partnerships.
Responsibilities
Partner closely with Account Executives to map target accounts, identify high leverage opportunities, and build a predictable enterprise pipeline.
Evaluate and respond rapidly to inbound leads generated from marketing initiatives, ensuring a seamless and technical initial discovery experience focused on net new customer acquisition.
Uncover deep engineering challenges around modernization work, feature additions, security vulnerability remediation, or reverse engineering to map exactly how Blitzy addresses a prospect stack.
Build personalized, multi channel outreach campaigns via cold calling, tailored email, LinkedIn, and other social media to engage everyone from individual developers to CTOs.
Drive pipeline by consistently hitting goals for qualified meetings, opportunities created, and sourced revenue.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a technical customer-facing role; a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Data, or a related technical field is a plus.
Demonstrated competitive drive, resilience in the face of rejection, and a track record of consistently exceeding goals.
Experience developing creative sourcing strategies and using unconventional outreach channels to uncover new opportunities.
Proven problem-solving skills, strong initiative, and comfort navigating ambiguity and tackling complex challenges head-on.
Strong technical communication skills, with experience asking thoughtful questions, leading technical conversations, and connecting product capabilities to business outcomes.
A strong appetite for feedback and continuous improvement, with the ability to quickly absorb product knowledge and refine your sales approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively, with a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to shared and individual success.
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 + Uncapped Commission + Equity
