What we collect from you
- Account details: your name and email address, from Google if you continue with Google, or a password you choose (stored only as a one-way hash).
- What you tell us: your answers to the setup questions (where you're starting from, roles, location, work preferences, how ready your LinkedIn and résumé are), used only to personalize your plan, job matches and messages.
- Your pipeline: the jobs and companies you save, the people you add, your notes, and the steps you log. Private to you.
- How the site is used: pages visited, searches, filters and buttons clicked, the site that sent you, and your device type and country. This is tied to a random id stored in your browser, not to your name, uses no cookies, and is never shared or used to follow you around other sites. We use it to make the site better.
- Google Analytics: we also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to count visits. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
We don't sell your data, we don't read your LinkedIn messages, and we never send messages on your behalf.
People listed as insiders
Warm Hires lists current sales reps at tech companies so job seekers can ask them about their experience. This comes from public search results: name, current title, employer, general location and public profile link. We never log in to LinkedIn or collect private data. If you're listed and would rather not be, ask to be removed and we'll take you off.
Emails
We email you for password resets and, if you keep them on, follow-up reminders and new jobs that fit you. You can change or turn these off anytime in your settings.
Your choices
You can download your tracker as a CSV at any time and ask us to delete your account and data through our contact page.
Service providers
We use Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database), Google Analytics (visit counts), Google (sign-in, if you choose it) and Resend (sending email). They process data only to provide those services.
