SDR and BDR jobs are entry-level seats, and the requirements are usually a wish list. Customer-facing work (retail, serving, teaching, recruiting, sports) counts. Your best move is to message one of the insiders below before you apply.
What you'd actually do: Research target companies, run personalized outbound and first-touch discovery for wallet-infrastructure APIs, and pass qualified pipeline to enterprise AEs.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
Turnkey is the wallet infrastructure powering the next era of the internet. Founded by the team that built Coinbase Custody, Turnkey gives companies secure, flexible, and programmable key management so they can launch world class crypto products without ever touching private keys. Our customers include leading fintechs, payment companies, AI platforms, and global enterprises building wallets, payments, rewards, remittances, and more.
We are backed by Sequoia, Galaxy, Bain Crypto, and the leaders who built the modern crypto ecosystem.
We operate as a lean organization where each person is empowered to take full ownership over their work and results. Our company is low on hierarchy and unnecessary meetings, and high on personal agency.
We’re hiring our first
to fuel pipeline generation across high value segments. This is not a “spray and pray” outbound role. You’ll become an expert on wallet infra, understand how top companies enter the crypto ecosystem, and run thoughtful outreach that sparks high value conversations for our Enterprise AEs and leadership team.
You’ll work directly with the VP of Revenue, CEO, and AEs to shape the top of the funnel and help define the outbound engine from the ground up. If you get energy from 0 to 1 building, this is it.
Build and refine targeted outbound strategies into high value verticals.
Research prospects deeply and craft messages that speak to their roadmap, pain points, and potential crypto strategy.
Create and manage early stage pipeline in Salesforce and support weekly pipeline reviews with the revenue team.
Qualify inbound interest, run first touch discovery, and prep AEs to advance high quality opportunities.
Collaborate with product, partnerships, and marketing to shape messaging, personas, and outbound campaigns.
Bring structured feedback from customers and the market to GTM leadership.
Constantly experiment, iterate, and help build the playbook for outbound at Turnkey.
Go above and beyond to fuel our GTM engine.
1 to 3 years in BDR, SDR, or similar outbound roles (startup or fintech/crypto experience is a plus, but not required).
Strong written communication: crisp, thoughtful outreach that feels personalized and strategic.
High curiosity for crypto, payments, fintech, or developer products.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and tell a clear story.
Competitive, motivated resilient, and hungry to build something new
Comfortable working directly with founders, senior leaders, and enterprise stakeholders.
Bias for action: you move fast, ask smart questions, and figure things out.
Work with a world class founding team with deep domain expertise.
Direct line to leadership: your work directly shapes our pipeline and revenue engine.
Massive market: Turnkey sits at the intersection of fintech, payments, AI, and global commerce.
Real ownership and upward mobility: early BDRs have the opportunity to touch many parts of the business and through high performance, can grow into AEs, partnerships, or strategic roles as the team scales.
Highly collaborative, fast moving environment built for people who want to win.
