Your game plan for this job
0 of 5 doneMost people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
- 1Pick 2–3 people at LassieWe haven't found reps here yet. Search LinkedIn for "sales development Lassie".
- 2Send a short, curious noteAsk about their experience, not for a referral. We write it for you, with the role and what Lassie sells.
- 3Have a 15-minute chatGood questions for this role:
- What was your path from SDR to where you are now?
- How did you land the job? What stood out in your interviews?
- The role is mostly outbound. How much is calling vs. email vs. LinkedIn?
- How is the team doing on quota? What separates the people who hit it?
- 4Apply, ideally with a referralIf the chat went well, ask if they'd refer you or point you to the hiring manager. Then apply and let them know so they can flag it.
- 5Prep for the role playSDR interviews almost always end in a mock cold call. Practice with the Lassie cheat sheet and the role-play guide.

Full job description
Our mission is to help small businesses run themselves. We’re starting with doctors’ offices, building autonomous systems that handle busywork and complete the workflows that keep the office moving every day. Our team is small, flat, and ambitious. We value craft, intellectual rigor, and direct communication.
About the role
As an Account Executive at Lassie, you'll help the doctors’ offices understand what becomes possible when AI agents take on real operational work. You know how to build a pipeline, run demos, diagnose customer pain (or identify goals), build trust with SMB owners and staffers, and close customers ready to run a more automated office.
What you'll do
Own a full-cycle SMB sales motion (prospecting, demos, follow-ups, close) against a monthly quota
Represent the Lassie brand and unlock referrals by building relationships with doctors, business owners, and communities
Improve Lassie's GTM playbook: what messaging converts, how to handle objections, and what the ideal customer looks like
Bring market feedback to product, marketing, and leadership so our pitch and product keep getting sharper
What we're looking for
You have 1–5 years of experience selling to small businesses
You built your own pipeline before
You move faster than everyone around you without sacrificing quality
You know how to read the room, ask for the sale, and get a deal done
You build real relationships with buyers, not transactional ones
You call things as they are (a weak pipeline, an objection, and more) and help fix them
Joining us
To start, you'll have a handful of conversations with our team and founders. If there is mutual excitement, we'll invite you to the office where you'll work on a small project and meet the team.
