Full job description
Building Healthcare That Remembers
Every time you call a doctor's office, the system forgets you the moment you hang up. You wait on hold, explain everything from scratch, get bounced between lines, and hope someone follows up. Everyone has felt this. No one should have to.
At Assort Health, we're building one continuous conversation for every patient. An AI agent that knows who you are, remembers how you like to be reached, and carries that context from your first symptom to your full recovery. What began as the first voice AI agent to schedule a specialty appointment has become the largest proprietary specialty dataset in healthcare: 285 million patient interactions, 62,000 care protocols, 1.6 million decision pathways.
We went from 15 people in 2025 and will cross 250 by the end of 2026. Revenue is up 20x in 15 months and we've raised $222 million, including a recent $120 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation. We've also been named to the Forbes Cloud 100 and the 2026 Enterprise Tech 30 as the only healthcare AI company on the list!
Healthcare spends $1.1 trillion a year on administration instead of care. If you want to help change that, apply below.
The Role
We're looking for a Manager, Sales Development to lead and grow our SDR team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves developing people, obsesses over pipeline quality, and knows how to build outbound motions that actually work. You'll report directly to the Head of Sales Development and work closely with Marketing, AEs, and RevOps to drive top-of-funnel growth across our target specialties and health systems.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop a team of SDRs focused on outbound and inbound pipeline generation
Own team metrics including meetings booked, pipeline created, and SQO volume and quality
Build and iterate on outbound sequences, messaging playbooks, and prospecting workflows
Run structured 1:1s, call reviews, and team trainings to continuously raise the bar on performance
Partner with AEs to ensure smooth handoffs and tight feedback loops on lead quality
Work with RevOps to maintain accurate reporting and forecasting across the SDR funnel
Collaborate with Marketing on demand-gen campaigns, events, and content that fuel top-of-funnel pipeline and ensure SDR follow-up is fast and consistent
Hire, ramp, and retain SDR talent — building a team culture that's high-performing and resilient
What We're Looking For
3+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally with time as a top-performing SDR or AE
1–2 years of people management experience leading an SDR or inside sales team
A coaching-first mindset — you get energy from developing people, not just hitting numbers yourself
Strong command of outbound fundamentals: sequencing, messaging, personalization, and pipeline hygiene
