About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Representative at Taktile, you'll drive AI adoption in Financial Services by engaging future customers in their very first interactions with us and identifying new market opportunities. It’s a pivotal role that enables our sales team to focus on high-value, revenue-generating activities and is powered by leveraging your creativity, charm, grit, and strategic thinking.
You will:
Own pipeline-generating activities in your territory and outreach to strategic prospects to generate high-intent opportunities with Mid-Market and Enterprise companies
Support the development and execution of strategic outbound initiatives
Lead our attendance at major conferences and host dinners to meet industry leaders across the world
Collaborate with the marketing, growth, and sales teams, and bring in leads applying qualification frameworks such as PACTT.
Be supported by an ever-developing AI toolstack to automate the busywork and focus on using your brain
Conduct initial qualifications for high-potential leads
Joining us will be a great decision if you:
You are creative and proactive, always looking for ways to stand out with prospects and to improve the way we do things
You are customer-focused and convincing in live conversations (phone, video, face-to-face)
You are a problem solver and find joy in handling complexity
You are resilient. It can be a tough role, with lots of rejection, but the wins make it worth it!
You will make our decision easy if you have:
2-3+ years of experience in a fast-growing startup, preferably in lead management and project management roles or 2-3+ years of experience in a field like finance & investment banking, consulting or software engineering
Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and pipeline targets.
Familiarity with outbound tools such as HubSpot, Aircall, lemlist or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
A growth mindset, genuine curiosity about AI and financial services, as well as a willingness to learn.
Our Offer
Receive a top-of-market equity and cash compensation package
Get access to a self-development budget that you can use to e.g. attend conferences, buy books or take classes
Join us onsite in our inspiring office spaces in Berlin, NY, or London and travel to quarterly team meetings around the world
Make an impact and meaningfully shape an early-stage company by creating new opportunities
Experience a truly flat hierarchy. Interact with and learn directly from founding team members. Having an opinion and voicing your ideas is not only welcome but encouraged, especially when they challenge the status quo
Get to know and learn from experienced mentors such as the founders of Looker, GitHub, Mulesoft, Datadog, and UiPath
Use the equipment of your choice including meaningful home office set-up.
Benefit from an onboarding and training path supported by best-in-class coaches to become a true expert in your field
Our Stance
Work with colleagues who lift you, challenge you, celebrate you, and help you grow. We come from many different backgrounds, but what we have in common is the desire to operate at the very top of our fields. If you are similarly capable, caring, and driven, you'll find yourself at home here.
We're eager to meet talented and driven candidates regardless of whether they tick all the boxes. We're looking for someone who will add to our culture, not just fit within it. We strongly encourage individuals from groups traditionally underestimated and underrepresented in tech to apply.
We seek to actively recognize and combat racism, sexism, ableism, and ageism. We embrace and support all gender identities and expressions and celebrate love in its many forms. We won't inquire about how you identify, or if you've experienced discrimination, but if you want to tell your story, we are all ears.
