What you'd actually do: Lead technical integration and architecture conversations on deals, advise on proofs of value, and scope custom requirements with IT teams at enterprise procurement buyers.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
The Sales Engineer is a shared technical specialist who works across accounts alongside our Solutions Consultants, Account Executives, and Customer Success, Implementation, and Product teams. When a customer's IT or engineering team wants to go deep on integrations, architecture, or custom requirements, you lead that conversation.
You bring clarity to complex technical deals. You help scope custom work so it serves the customer's business outcome and is feasible to deliver. You also connect what you learn in the field to Product and Engineering.
