Wiz role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
A cloud security platform that finds and prioritizes risks across cloud environments, code and running workloads.
Who you'd be calling
CISOs, cloud security leads, security architects and DevSecOps heads at large companies running in the cloud.
Your opener
“Hi Chris, this is Alex from Wiz. I'm calling security leaders who run workloads in the cloud. Is getting clear visibility across all your cloud accounts something you're working on?”
Problems you solve for them
- Too many security alerts and no clear way to know which matter
- Poor visibility across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud
- Security and developer teams struggle to work together on fixes
Discovery questions to ask
- Which clouds do you run on, and how many accounts or teams?
- How do you decide which alerts to fix first?
- How do your security and engineering teams work together on fixes?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ Understood, I'll be brief. Can I ask one question about how you prioritize cloud risks, then you decide if it's worth more time?
“We're not interested.”
→ Fair. Is that because cloud security feels well covered, or because it's not a priority this quarter?
“We already use something for cloud security.”
→ Makes sense, most teams have a tool. Do you feel it shows you what's truly urgent, or are you still sorting through noise? Worth a quick comparison?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Happy to. What would be most useful to see: how we prioritize risks or how we cover multiple clouds?
