Storable role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
All-in-one software, websites and payments that help self-storage, marine and RV facility owners run and fill their properties.
Who you'd be calling
Owners, operators and managers of self-storage, marine and RV facilities, from single sites to regional operators.
Your opener
“Hi, this is Morgan from Storable. I know I'm calling out of the blue. I work with storage facility owners on filling units and running things with less paperwork, and I wanted to ask how you handle rentals and payments today?”
Problems you solve for them
- Juggling separate tools for rentals, billing, website and insurance
- Empty units and missed online leads
- Late payments and time-consuming manual collections
Discovery questions to ask
- What software do you use to manage tenants and payments today?
- How do most of your new customers find you and rent a unit?
- What takes up most of your time each week at the facility?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy, I've got a customer here.”
→ No problem, I'll let you go. When's a better time today or tomorrow for a quick two-minute call?
“I'm not interested.”
→ Fair enough. Are you happy with how full your units are and how easy rentals and payments are?
“I already have a management software.”
→ Good, so you're set up already. Does it also handle your website, online rentals and payments, or do you use separate tools for those?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Happy to. How many facilities do you run, so I send something that fits?
