- Data is stuck in separate systems, so nobody sees the full picture
- Old on-premise data warehouses are slow, costly and hard to scale
- Teams want to use AI but their data isn't organized or secure enough
Discovery questions to ask
- Where does your company's data live today, and how many different systems is it spread across?
- How long does it take your team to answer a new business question with data?
- What's your plan for AI this year, and what's getting in the way?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ Totally get it, I'll be quick. Is it better if I grab 15 minutes on your calendar later this week instead?
“We're not interested.”
→ Fair enough, I haven't said much yet. Can I ask one question: is getting data from different systems into one place a headache for your team, or is that solved?
“We already use a data warehouse or another cloud provider.”
→ That's common, and most teams I talk to already have something. What's working well with it, and what do you wish it did better?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Happy to. So I send something useful rather than generic, what's the one data challenge you'd most want solved right now?
