Saviynt role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
Enterprise identity governance platform that controls who has access to what, now with security for AI identities.
Who you'd be calling
CISOs, identity and access management (IAM) leaders and IT security directors at large enterprises.
Your opener
“Hi Taylor, this is Alex from Saviynt. I know I'm calling out of the blue. I talk to security and IT leaders about controlling who has access to what, including as AI tools get added. Do you have a minute?”
Problems you solve for them
- Too many people have access they no longer need
- Access reviews for audits are slow and manual
- Hard to govern cloud apps, contractors and now AI agents
- Compliance rules require proof of who can access what
Discovery questions to ask
- How do you review and remove access people no longer need?
- How painful is preparing for an access audit?
- Are you thinking about how AI tools and agents get access to your systems?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy.”
→ Of course, I'll be brief. Can I ask one question about access reviews, or would a quick call later this week be better?
“We're not interested.”
→ Understood. Just so I know, is identity access something that's already well under control for you?
“We already have an identity vendor.”
→ That's common for enterprises. Does it cover governance and audit reviews well, or is some of that still manual?
“Send me an email.”
→ Happy to. Which topic would help more, audit and compliance or AI identity security? Can we set 15 minutes after you've read it?
