Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ No problem, I'll be quick. I just want to know if heating costs are a concern for you. When's a better time to call back?
“Not interested.”
→ Understood. Out of curiosity, is heating a cost you're happy with, or is it just something you've accepted?
“We already have a heating system and a service company.”
→ That's normal. We usually work with what's in place. Would it help to hear what we add on top of your current setup?
“Send me an email.”
→ Sure. Should I focus on saving money or on resident comfort?
Interview tips for this company
- Learn basic heating terms like boiler, radiator and thermostat, so you sound comfortable talking about buildings.
- This is hardware plus software, so ask in the interview who the main buyer is: owner, manager or building engineer.
