“Hi, this is [Name] from Lucid Bots. I'm calling cleaning companies that do high-rise or hard-to-reach exteriors, and I wanted to ask how you handle those jobs today.”
Problems you solve for them
- Cleaning tall buildings with ropes or lifts is dangerous and expensive
- Crews are hard to hire and jobs take a long time
- Insurance and safety rules make high-access work costly
Discovery questions to ask
- How do your crews clean the tall or hard-to-reach buildings right now?
- What's the biggest cost or headache on those jobs: safety, time, or insurance?
- Have you looked at drones or robots to take on some of that work?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ Totally understand, I'll be quick. Can I take 30 seconds to say why I called, and if it's not relevant I'll let you go?
“Not interested.”
→ Fair enough. Just so I'm not wasting your time, do you do any high-rise or tough-access exterior work, or is that not part of your business?
“We already use lifts and rope crews.”
→ That works for a lot of folks, and drones usually add to that rather than replace it. Would it help to see how other operators use them on the riskiest jobs?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Happy to. So I send you something useful, what type of buildings do you clean most? And could we pencil in a 10-minute call next week to go over it?
Interview tips for this company
- Learn the product basics from their site: exterior cleaning drones, what they clean, and the safety angle. Don't quote numbers beyond what they publish.
- Expect a mixed audience: practice one pitch for a business owner (revenue, new services) and one for a government buyer (safety, budget, procurement).
