iVerify role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
iVerify detects threats on mobile phones, treating them like any other endpoint that attackers can target.
Who you'd be calling
CISOs, security directors and security operations leads at large enterprises, especially those with high-risk executives
Your opener
“Hi Jordan, it's Alex from iVerify. I know I'm calling unexpectedly. We help security teams spot threats on employee phones, which most companies don't monitor, and I wanted to ask how you cover mobile today. Do you have a quick minute?”
Problems you solve for them
- Phones hold sensitive data but often have no security monitoring
- Mobile attacks and spyware are hard to detect
- Executives and high-risk staff are targeted
- Security teams lack visibility into mobile threats
Discovery questions to ask
- How does your security team monitor employee phones today, if at all?
- Do you have executives or staff who are likely targets for mobile attacks?
- How would your team know if a phone had been compromised?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm too busy.”
→ Understood. I'll be quick. I just want to ask how you cover mobile devices in your security setup. Can I do that now, or call back at a better time?
“Not interested.”
→ No problem. Is mobile security something you've looked at and decided is covered, or just not on the radar yet?
“We already have mobile device management.”
→ That's a good foundation. Does it tell you if a phone has actually been attacked, or mostly manage settings and policies?
“Send me an email.”
→ Of course. So it's relevant, are you more worried about targeted attacks on executives or about general employee phones?
