Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm in the middle of service, I'm busy.”
→ Totally understand, I'll be quick. When would be a better time this week, maybe before service starts?
“We're not interested.”
→ Fair enough, I'm not sure it's a fit either. Out of curiosity, is it that your current setup is working well, or just not a priority right now?
“We already have a POS (Toast, Square, etc.).”
→ That makes sense, most venues do. We're not always a rip-and-replace. Is there anything about guest ordering or paying that your current system doesn't handle well?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Happy to. So it's useful and not just noise, what's the one thing you'd most want to see in it: labor savings, faster tables, or guest ordering?

Interview tips for this company
- Know the 'one tab' idea: guests can order via server, via phone, or both on the same tab. Be able to explain it in one sentence.
- Practice sounding relaxed on the call; restaurant owners are busiest at mealtimes, so mention you'd call at a better time.
