Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ No problem, I'll keep it short. I only want to learn how you source data. Can we find 10 minutes later this week?
“We're not interested.”
→ Understood. Just to check, is data sourcing already covered, or is it not a priority at the moment?
“We already have data providers.”
→ That makes sense. Do they give you consent-based behavioral data, or is there a gap you still need to fill?
“Send me an email.”
→ Will do. What type of data matters most to you, so I send something relevant? And can I follow up early next week?
Interview tips for this company
- Be ready to explain 'consent-based data' simply, in terms of why it lowers legal and privacy risk.
- This is a newer, less-known company, so read their website closely and be honest about what you don't know.
