Coram AI role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
AI-powered cloud security platform covering video cameras, access control, visitors and emergency response in one system.
Who you'd be calling
Facilities, Security and Operations leaders, IT directors and business owners at schools, retailers, warehouses and offices.
Your opener
“Hi Sam, this is Alex from Coram. I know I'm calling out of the blue. We help organizations manage cameras, door access and visitors in one system. Who handles physical security at your company?”
Problems you solve for them
- Old camera systems are hard to search and manage across locations
- Separate systems for cameras, doors and visitors don't talk to each other
- Investigating an incident means scrubbing hours of footage
- Slow response to threats puts people and property at risk
Discovery questions to ask
- What do you use today for cameras and door access?
- If something happened on site, how long would it take to find the footage?
- How many locations do you manage, and who looks after the systems?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ Understood, I'll be quick. Is there a better time this week for a 10-minute call?
“We're not interested.”
→ Fair enough. Is your current security setup working well, or is it just not a priority right now?
“We already have a camera system.”
→ Good to have one in place. Can you search footage by what happened, like a person or event, or do you scroll through video?
“Send me an email.”
→ Sure. Would it help to focus on cameras, access control or visitor management?
