ClaimSorted role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
A claims management platform and services that help insurers and large companies handle claims and recover faster.
Who you'd be calling
Claims leaders, risk managers, and insurance or operations executives at insurers and large companies.
Your opener
“Hi Morgan, this is Alex from ClaimSorted. We help insurers and large companies handle claims more smoothly so people recover faster. Do you have a quick minute for a question about how your claims work today?”
Problems you solve for them
- Claims handling is slow and complex, which frustrates customers and drives up costs
- Large companies juggle many claims, vendors, and policies with little visibility
- Poor claims experiences hurt trust and renewals
Discovery questions to ask
- How are claims handled today, in-house, through a third party, or a mix?
- Where do claims get stuck or slow down most often?
- How do you track claim status and costs across your whole business?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ Understood, I'll be brief. Could we set a quick 15-minute call next week to see if there's a fit?
“Not interested.”
→ That's fine. Can I ask if claims is working well for you, or are there areas you're looking to improve?
“We already have a claims system or a third-party administrator.”
→ Many companies do. We're not asking you to rip anything out, so would you be open to hearing where we help alongside your current setup?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Sure. To make it useful, is your bigger challenge claim speed, cost, or visibility across claims?
Interview tips for this company
- Learn claims basics: what a claim is, what a third-party administrator does, and why speed and customer experience matter.
- The company profile is brief on exact features, so study their website before the interview and avoid claiming specifics you can't back up.
