Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ I get it, campaigns never slow down. Can I call back at a set time, say tomorrow morning, for five minutes?
“Not interested.”
→ No worries. Can I ask what's the biggest challenge in your outreach right now, just so I know if I'm off base?
“We already use something for this.”
→ Makes sense, most campaigns have a setup. What would you change about it if you could?
“Just send me an email.”
→ Of course. Is your priority more about reaching new voters or about get-out-the-vote? I'll send the right thing.
Interview tips for this company
- The buyer is a small, busy team on a tight budget, so practice short, respectful calls and a clear reason to talk now.
- Think about timing. Campaign tools matter most near election cycles, so be ready to talk about urgency without sounding pushy.
