Arctic Wolf role-play cheat sheet
For the mock cold call at the end of most SDR interviews.
What they sell, in one line
A service where Arctic Wolf's security experts watch your systems 24/7 and respond to cyber threats for you.
Who you'd be calling
IT directors, IT managers, CISOs and security leads at mid-market and enterprise companies with small security teams.
Your opener
“Hi [Name], this is [You] from Arctic Wolf. I know I'm calling without warning. Do you have a quick minute for why I called about watching for threats around the clock?”
Problems you solve for them
- Too few staff to watch for attacks around the clock
- Alerts pile up and real threats get missed
- Ransomware and breach risk, plus insurance and compliance pressure
Discovery questions to ask
- Who monitors your systems for threats after hours and on weekends?
- How do you handle security alerts today, and how many go unchecked?
- Have cyber insurance or compliance requirements changed what you need?
Objections they'll throw at you
“I'm busy right now.”
→ No problem, I'll be quick. What's a better 15 minutes this week?
“Not interested.”
→ Fair enough. Is security monitoring already covered, or just not a priority at the moment?
“We already have a security tool or provider.”
→ Good, so security matters to you. Who watches the alerts it creates, day and night?
“Send me an email.”
→ Sure. So it's relevant, are you more worried about ransomware or compliance?
Competitors worth knowing
CrowdStrike, Expel, Rapid7, Sophos
