Runwise is looking for a Sales Development Leader to lead, coach, and grow our high-performing sales development team as we accelerate growth across the United States.
Runwise (www.runwise.com) is a fast-paced New York City-based energy startup that controls and runs heating systems in 10,000+ buildings across the US. Runwise's unique hardware and software services significantly reduce energy usage, substantially lowering costs and carbon output. As of today, Runwise's technology takes the equivalent of 35,000 cars worth of carbon emissions off the road each year. Runwise works with the biggest owners and property managers in the country and is backed by some of the most prestigious investors in the space.
As a Sales Development Leader at Runwise, you will lead a team of sales professionals focused on cold calling, pipeline management, and the execution results of your team. You will hire, onboard, and develop talent, set clear goals, and build the processes that turn company growth targets into daily execution.
This role drives the top of the sales funnel, and sits at the intersection of coaching, process design, and revenue accountability. You will work closely with leadership, partner with marketing and sales, and create a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. The right candidate is an ambitious, people-first manager who has led sales teams before and brings an operational and hunter mindset.
Depending on the position, the base salary range is $80,000 to $100,000, plus a commission opportunity tied to team performance. Final base salary will depend on experience and qualifications, and specific position.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing company, one of the true leaders within energy efficiency in the Northeast. You will be surrounded by talented people, including working closely with our leadership team. Your success will also make a tangible impact on reducing carbon emissions across the country, within the cities where we operate.
