What you'd actually do: Cold call and email hotel GMs, revenue managers and procurement contacts across the East Coast and Central US to book discovery meetings for Account Executives.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
The hospitality industry is uniquely human, and it deserves technology that’s just as inspiring as the people behind it. At Mews, we’re transforming the industry with a platform that helps hotels run smarter, move faster and create better guest experiences.
You’ll work with smart, curious people who care deeply about what they do. You’ll have autonomy and the trust to make good decisions and move quickly. And you’ll enjoy a real sense of purpose as you see the impact of what we’re building.
If you’re motivated by ownership, curiosity and meaningful impact, and are driven to deliver consistent high performance, you’ll feel at home here.
Let's get into the specifics. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it into a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:
North American hotel operators are running on legacy, on-premise technology that creates system fragmentation and manual workarounds across everything they do. This BDR role exists to continue to expand the East Coast and Central US market for Mews, building qualified pipeline from the first cold call to the booked discovery meeting.
You will work across the East Coast territory, owning outbound prospecting to hotel GMs, revenue managers, and group procurement contacts. The pipeline you build is the commercial foundation for everything Mews does in the East Coast and Central US.
In practice, this means using AI to draft and personalise outreach to hotel GMs, giving it real context about the property, the GM's known situation, and the tone that works with hospitality operators, then reviewing and editing before anything is sent. You are actively experimenting with AI sequencing tools and research assistants and building a view on what produces better results with North American prospects. Every message that reaches a prospect is yours.
