SDR and BDR jobs are entry-level seats, and the requirements are usually a wish list. Customer-facing work (retail, serving, teaching, recruiting, sports) counts. Your best move is to message one of the insiders below before you apply.
What you'd actually do: Qualify inbound leads and prospect by phone and email to book discovery meetings for sales executives selling Granicus software to government agencies.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
