Your game plan for this job
0 of 5 doneMost people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
- 1Pick 2–3 people at RebarWe found 7 current reps: 1 SDRs, 4 AEs, 1 SDR managers. SDRs reply the most; they were in your shoes recently. See them ↓
- 2Send a short, curious noteAsk about their experience, not for a referral. We write it for you, with the role and what Rebar sells.
- 3Have a 15-minute chatGood questions for this role:
- What does a normal day look like for you?
- How did you land the job? What stood out in your interviews?
- The role is mostly outbound. How much is calling vs. email vs. LinkedIn?
- How is the team doing on quota? What separates the people who hit it?
- 4Apply, ideally with a referralIf the chat went well, ask if they'd refer you or point you to the hiring manager. Then apply and let them know so they can flag it.
- 5Prep for the role playSDR interviews almost always end in a mock cold call. Practice with the Rebar cheat sheet and the role-play guide.

Full job description
About Rebar
Rebar is building the AI operating system for commercial HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing.
Over the past year, our quoting platform has processed tens of thousands of projects across North America, and we’ve doubled our revenue in the first six weeks of this year. Our customers include many of the industry's top firms. Some of these companies run billion-dollar construction projects on workflows that still look like they did in 1985.
Construction is 10% of GDP and still massively underserved by software. We are changing that.
We recently raised a $14M Series A from leading construction tech investors and are entering our next phase of growth. We are building a set of AI-native products that will define how this industry operates.
We are looking for a Client Success Manager who wants to build real products, move fast, and take ownership early. You will help define how AI changes one of the largest industries in the world.
The Role
This is not a traditional “CSM” role. Our Implementation team owns onboarding. We’re looking for someone passionate about account management to take full ownership of the client relationship post–handoff, driving adoption, solving day-to-day problems, and ensuring clients get real value from Rebar in their workflows.
You’ll be part operator, part problem-solver, part product feedback loop. You’ll work directly with clients, the CX team, Sales, Product, and Engineering to ensure our software works in the real world and keeps improving.
This role is high-intensity, high-ownership, and high-upside. If you’re looking for a highly structured, low-pressure CS role, this is not it.
What You’ll Do
Act as a product expert and trusted advisor for our clients, from individual users to key stakeholders
Collaborate with Founders, Sales, Implementation, and Engineering to surface insights, champion the client perspective, and influence the product roadmap
Maintain the client management section of our CRM and ticketing/messaging systems
Drive proactive outreach to engage clients, improve user experience, and support account growth and contract renewals
Use data to identify trends, improve user experience, drive product adoption, and reduce churn
Manage client expectations and escalations with strategic tact and urgency
Help design and document scalable client success playbooks
A typical day might include:
Responding to 25+ inbound messages and emails with product questions
Conducting five video calls with clients to gather feedback and drive adoption
Demoing a new feature for a key account
Running remote training sessions for new clients or branches
Who You Are
You love people and take pride in delivering an exceptional client experience
