GC AI is the legal intelligence platform built for in-house legal teams and companies. Your decisions shape the product, your impact is immediate, and you own your work from day one.
More than 2,100 companies run their legal work on GC AI, including 300+ public companies, 75+ unicorns, and teams at Nestlé, Hitachi Digital, Lockheed Martin, Miro, Bass Pro Shops, Riot Games, SKIMS, Liquid Death, Vercel, TIME, and Post Holdings. The platform holds an 80 NPS, more than double the B2B SaaS industry average, reinforcing GC AI as the leading legal AI platform for companies of all sizes.
GC AI has doubled ARR in six months. We won #1 Highest Customer Satisfaction at the 2026 SaaS Awards. Our investors include Scale Venture Partners, Northzone, Sound Ventures, and Guillermo Rauch, CEO of Vercel.
You’ll define how things get built, not follow someone else’s playbook. Six principles guide how the team works:
📈 1% Better Every Day: small, compounding improvements across everything you ship.
❤️🔥 Customer Obsession: start with the customer and work backward.
🚀 Ship Today: bias toward action and iteration over perfection.
🧗 Find a Way: resourcefulness and ambition over constraint.
🤝 Care: be direct, like an honest friend, even when it’s uncomfortable.
🎯 Own It: full accountability, proactive communication, and attention to detail.
About The Role
As a Commercial Account Executive, you'll set the stage for how legal teams of the future work. Your impact will be direct and measurable. The best part? Our product has clear, deep product-market fit: 97.5% of teams see value before month one. You're selling the only legal AI built end-to-end for in-house counsel, and customers see that difference immediately.
We have a strong, proven inbound engine, but the real opportunity is how much whitespace remains. The global in-house legal market represents a massive, largely untapped opportunity, and we're looking for an AE who can work both sides: converting a strong inbound pipeline while building outbound motion to reach the thousands of legal teams who don't yet know what they're missing. You'll qualify prospects, run demos, manage trials, navigate procurement, and close deals, all while driving AI adoption across legal teams in North America.
What You'll Do
Work with prospects and customers in the ~ $50-200M segment
Own inbound pipeline quality: assess and prioritize leads with a sharp eye for fit, urgency, and expansion potential
Build and manage your territory: develop a proactive outbound strategy to identify and penetrate high-value accounts across your book
Hunt and open new logos: prospect outbound through personalized outreach, leveraging GC AI's strong brand and proven ROI story to create pipeline from scratch
Execute world-class discovery: lead needs-based conversations that uncover real pain, quantify business impact, and position GC AI as the solution
Balance high-velocity selling with strategic selling tactics such as aligning stakeholders, moving deals forward, and coordinating product trials and GC AI Classes
Land and expand: close initial contracts and identify opportunities to grow accounts across teams, departments, and use cases
Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with marketing, product, customer success, and leadership to deliver a seamless prospect and customer experience
Keep CRM clean and forecasts honest: maintain rigorous HubSpot/Gong hygiene and deliver accurate, consistent pipeline visibility that the business can plan against
Required Experience
1-3 years closing experience selling software/SaaS deals with a documented track record of top performance OR 18+ months of proven top performance in a sales development role
Self-starter with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling emails
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals (President’s Club or similar accolades or a track record of consistently exceeding quota and activity targets)
Keen attention to detail
Nice to have: Experience selling to legal, HR, finance, or related departments of tech companies
Nice To Have
You have experience in legal tech or have previously sold technology solutions to legal professionals.
You use AI in business yourself and/or are AI native yourself (you use Fathom, Gong, or other AI tools)
Familiar with compliance-related aspects of selling software, like SOC II, vendor qualification, and other items that need to be completed to get to launch/close.
A Note On Pace
We’re building something new in a once-in-a-generation shift in technology and the legal industry, so we move at a relentless pace. We expect urgency, ownership, and good judgment even when things aren’t perfectly clear. If you need structure and consensus to do your best work, this isn’t the right place for you. If you thrive in ambiguity and growth, work with intensity, and want real responsibility, keep reading. We’re excited to meet you.
How We Work Together
GC AI is a distributed company with team members across North America, and soon Europe. We believe that because our business is AI, human connection matters more, not less. We invest in bringing people together through our hub model: regular coworking sessions, customer dinners, team and company offsites. If you’re in a location without an office, expect up to 10% travel (and more for customer-facing roles).
Team members in the San Francisco Bay Area and Provo, UT (within 50 miles of the office) work together on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. As we grow, we plan to establish permanent offices in more hub cities, and we will look to our team members to help build that in-person culture. We currently hire across the United States and Canada.
