- What does a normal day look like for you?
- How did you land the job? What stood out in your interviews?
- The role is mostly outbound. How much is calling vs. email vs. LinkedIn?
- How is the team doing on quota? What separates the people who hit it?
- 4Apply, ideally with a referralIf the chat went well, ask if they'd refer you or point you to the hiring manager. Then apply and let them know so they can flag it.
- 5Prep for the role playSDR interviews almost always end in a mock cold call. Practice with the Freed cheat sheet and the role-play guide.

ABOUT FREED
Doctors are overworked, burnt out, and are quitting in masses.
At Freed, we combine clinician love with the latest AI tech and intense execution to create products that make clinicians happier.
Our first product is an AI scribe that automates medical documentation.
Since May of 2023, we have:
Acquired 27,000 paying and loving clinicians
Generated over 3 million patient notes monthly
Made dozens of thousands of clinicians happier
With the backing of Sequoia Capital and other world-class VCs, we are rapidly expanding our product offering. Patient-facing assistants, patient insights, EHR integrations, and other products are being built and used by thousands of clinicians every day.
We are looking for entrepreneurs. Fast, ambitious, and smart individuals who want to take care of the people who care for our health. Expect intense, clinician-focused, and interesting co-workers who want to win.
With an office in San Francisco, we embrace a hybrid schedule that brings out the best in teamwork and innovation. Our teams come together in person three days a week to collaborate, connect, and have a little fun along the way.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Sales Manager, you will lead and develop Freed's team of Account Executives while owning the execution of our B2B sales motion. You will be responsible for helping the team consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets through rigorous coaching, disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and hands-on support in strategic opportunities.
You will inherit a team of three Account Executives and play a critical role in scaling the organization as revenue grows. This is a highly operational and customer-facing leadership role. You'll spend time coaching reps, inspecting deals, refining process, participating in customer conversations, and helping close high-value opportunities.
The ideal candidate combines strong sales leadership fundamentals with a builder mentality. They know how to create accountability, improve rep performance, drive forecast accuracy, and navigate complex healthcare buying environments. Experience successfully bringing new products to market and building the sales motion around them would be a strong advantage.
HOW YOU’LL HAVE IMPACT
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives to consistently achieve revenue targets.
Establish a high-performance culture centered on accountability, execution, continuous improvement, and customer outcomes.
Conduct regular pipeline reviews, deal inspections, and forecast reviews to improve conversion rates and forecasting accuracy.
Partner directly with Account Executives on strategic opportunities, executive relationships, and complex negotiations.
Improve win rates through structured coaching, call reviews, and opportunity management.
