SDR and BDR jobs are entry-level seats, and the requirements are usually a wish list. Customer-facing work (retail, serving, teaching, recruiting, sports) counts. Your best move is to message one of the insiders below before you apply.
What you'd actually do: Own a ~500-account whitespace territory, prospecting and closing new business for Elastic's search, observability and security platform with commercial customers.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
