What you'd actually do: Own enterprise swine and poultry integrator accounts for a barn-monitoring hardware and software platform, leading rollouts and training and driving adoption and retention.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
BarnTools makes smart barn monitoring simple. Our gateways, wireless sensors, and mobile and web applications give swine and poultry operations real-time visibility into the conditions that drive animal health and performance โ temperature, humidity, water, power, and feed โ and put that information in front of the people responsible for acting on it.
Our customers rely on us for:
โ whole-barn environmental monitoring and alarms, from the Gateway and its sensors to alerts delivered on the BarnTalk mobile app.
โ real-time feed inventory and usage from the bin, for growers and for the integrators managing feed across an entire network.
โ biosecurity movement tracking and policy enforcement across a production system, reconciled in real time.
BarnTools was founded by producers who knew firsthand what an unreliable alarm costs a farm. That perspective still guides us: caretakers are there for the animals, not the technology, so we build tools that are practical, dependable, and easy to use. More than 7,000 growers and 10,000 sites across the country now run on BarnTools, supported by over 100,000 active sensors in the field.
We serve individual growers as well as the large enterprise integrators and production systems they work with, deploying across entire networks of barns and bins. Headquartered in Urbandale, Iowa, we are a remote-friendly company built on teamwork and trust, and we are looking for people who want to make an impact in the industry that feeds the world.
Serve as the primary point of contact for a named set of enterprise customers, managing the full post-sale lifecycle against business outcomes and identifying growth within those accounts. Your mission is to delight our customers, maximize customer ROI, and build lifetime value.
Own the customer side of pilot-to-rollout programs across large grower networks in the US and Canada. This means prioritizing the moments that matter to the customer, understanding how each of them is defining success for each pilot, and working in partnership with sales to ensure every pilot leads to broader adoption and expansion.
You personally train the customer's operations and staff โ service technicians, flock supervisors, feed mill managers, production personnel โ on the hardware, the BarnTalk mobile app, and the web portal, virtually or on site. For the grower side of the network, you own the training plan and the communications around it and coordinate delivery with the teams running grower onboarding.
Hardware on the wall is the start. Track whether alerts are configured, call trees are populated, and the BarnTalk app is actually in the hands of the people who need it โ and intervene where it is not.
Teach customers the hardware, the mobile app, and the web portal: Gateway, BinTalk Pro, tandem bins, feed alerts, alarm configuration, and account structure including Additional Gateway Owner setup.
Deliver business reviews that show the customer what they are getting for their spend, in their metrics, not ours.
Bring continuous, specific feedback to Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering, including participation in testing and customer engagement on new functionality.
Keep HubSpot current, post standardized internal call summaries so stakeholders can follow an account without asking, and contribute to the Help Center and internal knowledge base.
Improve the playbooks, templates, and standards the Enterprise CS team runs on as we continue to scale.
