What you'd actually do: Coach an inside sales team that prospects referral partners for Human Interest's 401(k) platform, running 1:1s, call reviews and weekly forecasts.
Most people just hit Apply. Do these first and you show up with someone on the inside.
A friendly message to a current rep is the best way to stand out. Ask about their experience, not for a referral.
Human Interest is on a mission to ensure that people in all lines of work have access to retirement benefits.
More than half of all working Americans are not saving enough for their future. Too often, it’s because they are employed by a company that doesn’t offer a retirement plan. Human Interest is changing that by making it affordable and accessible for small and medium-sized businesses to offer employees a path to financial independence through retirement savings.
We’re a high-growth fintech company changing the retirement industry. We are backed by a number of investors. This includes funding from Marshall Wace and Baillie Gifford, as well as top investors such as BlackRock, TPG (The Rise Fund), SoftBank, Glynn Capital, NewView Capital, USVP, Wing, Uncork, and more.
As Manager of Inside Sales at Human Interest, your primary responsibility will be to coach and develop a high-performing team. The team is responsible for engaging new partners for lead generation of small businesses to become part of the fastest-growing 401(k) company in the world. They will manage a comprehensive sales funnel, requiring mastery in both acquiring net new partners and cultivating ongoing relationships to ensure a continual flow of leads through their pipeline. The team will look to your guidance and mentorship to help enable their success. You’re the right fit for this role if you are passionate about accelerating revenue, comfortable rolling up your sleeves, and have a strong bias to insight-driven action. You should be naturally curious and have the “go deep” mindset. And as we go 24,791 mph, you should be comfortable with change.
Spearhead a high-velocity inside sales partnership engine designed to scale referral agreements and expand nationwide market reach.
Continuously test and refine persona-aligned outreach sequences and talk tracks to optimize connect rates and meeting conversions.
Oversee pipeline performance across the entire partner lifecycle, from net-new partner acquisition to ongoing relationship management and AE handoffs.
Collaborate with Revenue Operations and Partnership leads to establish operational SLAs, refine target list criteria, and streamline automated lead routing.
Conduct rigorous 1:1 coaching, weekly activity tracking, and bi-weekly call reviews to sharpen value-based pitching, objection handling, and partner negotiations.
Maintain rigorous accountability around team performance, providing weekly commit forecasts based on activity volume, lead-to-opportunity conversion, and downstream revenue impact.
Monitor appointment conversion and follow-up cadences to eliminate drop-off, enforcing key operational targets like maintaining an 80% to 90% show rate.
Transform high-performing manual prospecting tactics into scalable, automated playbooks as the experimental motion matures.
